To ensure a smooth first visit, we’ve outlined our camper requirements, evaluation process, and health policies below. These guidelines help us maintain a happy, balanced environment where every pup can thrive.

Camper Requirements

  • Up-to-Date Vaccinations

    All dogs must have current rabies, distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations on file prior to attending camp.

  • Spayed or Neutered

    Dogs over a certain age may be required to be spayed or neutered for participation in group play.

  • Flea & Parasite Free

    All campers must be free of fleas, ticks, and contagious conditions.

  • Collar with Identification

    Dogs should arrive wearing a secure collar with proper identification.

  • Completed Registration Forms

    All required forms and emergency contact information must be submitted before your pup’s first day.

Meet & Greet Evaluation

Every new camper participates in a temperament check before joining group play. This introduction allows us to assess comfort level, play style, and social behavior in a controlled setting.

During the evaluation, we observe:

  • Interaction with staff
  • Response to new environments
  • Play style with other dogs
  • Energy level and comfort cues

Our goal is not perfection — it’s safety and compatibility. We carefully group dogs based on size, temperament, and personality to create balanced playgroups where everyone feels comfortable.

Health & Safety Commitment

Your dog’s well-being is our top priority. We maintain a clean facility, structured supervision, and clear safety protocols at all times.

If a dog becomes ill or injured while in our care:

  • Owners will be contacted immediately
  • Emergency contacts may be notified if needed
  • Veterinary care will be sought when necessary

In the event of a medical emergency, Camp Four Paws reserves the right to seek treatment to ensure the safety and health of your pet. Any veterinary expenses incurred are the responsibility of the owner.

Our team monitors campers closely throughout the day to quickly identify any changes in behavior, appetite, or physical condition.
